Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment center that works to treat drug addiction problems and mental health disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in treatment takes part in a variety of rehab activities and methods in the day and then leaves in the evening.
