Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment center which is meant to deal with substance abuse disorders and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehab partakes in various rehab activities and techniques during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem.
