Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment facility that is meant to treat drug addiction problems and mental health problems which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehabilitation participates in a number of rehabilitation activities and methods in the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done several days per week, depending on the significance of the problem.
