Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug treatment program which works to handle drug and alcohol addiction disorders and psychological disorders which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in treatment participates in various rehab activities and approaches in the day and then leaves in the evening. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the significance of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for addicted individuals in Boyden who are unable to afford long-term inpatient care, or who are unable to be away from their families for extended periods of time.
