Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab program which is meant to handle substance abuse problems and mental health issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehabilitation participates in a variety of treatment services and techniques in the daytime and then returns home in the evening time. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem.
