Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehabilitation center which is meant to treat drug and alcohol addiction issues and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehab takes part in various treatment activities and techniques in the daytime and then returns home in the night time. This is done several days per week, depending on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem.
