Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol treatment center which works to treat drug addiction disorders and mental health issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehab takes part in various rehab activities and strategies during the day and then returns home in the evening. This is carried out several days per week, depending on the severity of the drug problem.
