Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug treatment center which is meant to handle substance abuse disorders and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in treatment partakes in a variety of rehabilitation activities and strategies during the day and then returns home in the evening. This is carried out several days per week, all dependent on the severity of the drug problem.
