Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment center that works to handle substance abuse problems and psychological disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehabilitation participates in a variety of rehab activities and methods during the day and then returns home in the evening.
