Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of drug rehabilitation facility which works to treat drug and alcohol addiction issues and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in treatment takes part in a variety of rehabilitation activities and approaches in the daytime and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the significance of the problem.
