Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation center that works to treat drug addiction disorders and mental health disorders which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in treatment participates in a number of rehab services and strategies in the daytime and then leaves in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the severity of the drug or alcohol problem.
