Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol treatment facility which is meant to handle substance abuse issues and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in treatment participates in a number of treatment activities and approaches in the daytime and then returns home in the evening time.
