Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of alcohol and drug treatment facility that is meant to treat drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehabilitation participates in various rehabilitation services and strategies in the daytime and then leaves in the night time. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem.
