Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility which works to treat drug addiction problems and psychological disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in treatment participates in a number of treatment services and approaches during the day and then returns home in the evening. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the significance of the drug or alcohol problem.
