Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug treatment program which works to handle substance abuse problems and mental health disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehab partakes in various treatment activities and techniques in the day and then leaves in the evening time. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the severity of the problem.
