Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab facility that works to deal with drug addiction disorders and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in rehabilitation participates in a number of rehab activities and techniques during the day and then returns home in the evening. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the significance of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for drug or alcohol addicted persons in Bainbridge who are unable to cover the costs of long-term inpatient rehab, or who are not able to be away from their families for prolonged periods of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients participate in standard treatment services for alcohol or drug addiction issues while also dealing with psychological disorders which could keep them from remaining abstinent once treatment is complete.
