Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program which works to deal with drug and alcohol addiction disorders and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehab partakes in various rehabilitation services and methods during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is carried out several days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for addicted men and women in Bainbridge who may not be able to afford long-term inpatient care, or for treatment clients who are unable to be away from their home for prolonged periods of time. While in Day Treatment, individuals take part in traditional treatment services for addiction problems while also addressing psychological problems which could keep them from staying abstinent when rehabilitation is complete.
