Facilities which go by the name of Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment facilities are readily available to certain men and women in Bailey Island who are struggling with co-occurring drug and alcohol abuse and mental health issues. These types of facilities may be beneficial to those rehabilitation clients in Bailey Island who may not be able to have the money to pay for inpatient treatment, or who are not able to take part in an inpatient facility due to familial responsibilities. Partial hospitalization programs treat the individual in the daytime through therapy and other rehab techniques, and the individual goes home in the PM. Treatment is carried out nearly each day of the week on an intensive program which seeks to fully rehabilitate the person both physically and psychologically.
