Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment center which works to deal with substance abuse issues and psychological issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehab participates in a number of treatment activities and methods in the day and then leaves in the night time.
