Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility that is meant to treat substance abuse issues and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehabilitation takes part in a number of rehab services and approaches during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is carried out several days per week, depending on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem.
