Criminal justice clients are a large percentage of clients who take part in drug and alcohol treatment facilities in Atlantic Highlands and in the USA. Court systems in the country often find it more helpful to treat people who have found their way into the criminal justice system for drug related crimes, instead of penalizing them in vain with jail time and other penalties. It has proven more successful to handle the problem of drug addiction more straightforwardly, than to invoke such penalties. Most individuals who do not make their way to drug and alcohol rehabilitation will often wind back up in the criminal justice system, whilst criminal justice clients in drug and alcohol treatment often don't fall back into drug use and have a much better chance at remaining abstinent and away from the court system entirely.
