Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab center which works to handle substance abuse issues and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in treatment participates in a variety of rehab activities and strategies in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the severity of the problem.
