Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program that works to handle drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in treatment takes part in a number of rehabilitation activities and strategies in the day and then leaves in the night time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the severity of the drug problem.
