Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab program which is meant to treat substance abuse problems and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in treatment partakes in various rehab activities and methods during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the significance of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for drug addicted men and women in Asbury who are unable to pay for long-term inpatient treatment, or for treatment clients who are not able to be away from their home for prolonged periods of time. While in Day Treatment, individuals participate in standard treatment services for addiction problems while also overcoming mental health issues which could keep them from staying sober when rehabilitation is complete.
