Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehabilitation facility which works to treat drug addiction issues and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in treatment partakes in a variety of rehab services and methods during the day and then leaves in the evening time. This is carried out several days a week, depending on the severity of the drug or alcohol problem.
