Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol treatment center which is meant to handle drug addiction problems and psychological problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in treatment participates in various rehabilitation activities and strategies in the daytime and then leaves in the evening time. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the severity of the drug or alcohol problem.
