Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program that is meant to deal with substance abuse issues and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in treatment participates in a number of rehab services and techniques in the daytime and then leaves in the evening.
