Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehab facility which works to deal with substance abuse disorders and psychological problems which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehabilitation participates in a number of rehabilitation activities and approaches in the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the severity of the drug problem.
