Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehabilitation program which works to treat substance abuse problems and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehabilitation partakes in various treatment services and strategies in the daytime and then returns home in the night time. This is done several days a week, depending on the significance of the drug or alcohol problem.
