Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab program which works to deal with drug addiction disorders and psychological issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehabilitation takes part in a variety of treatment services and techniques in the daytime and then returns home in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug addicted men and women in Ada who who may be unable to cover the costs of long-term inpatient treatment, or for those who are unable to be apart from their home for prolonged durations of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients participate in traditional counseling and therapy for alcohol or drug addiction problems while also dealing with psychological issues which may deter them from staying sober when rehab is done.
