Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug treatment facility which works to handle substance abuse disorders and mental health problems which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in treatment partakes in a number of rehabilitation services and strategies in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is carried out several days a week, all dependent on the severity of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for addicted men and women in Absecon who may not be able to pay for long-term inpatient rehab, or who are unable to be away from their families for prolonged durations of time.
